'For Budapest' award conferred on Árpád Csurgay, Professor Emeritus of PPCU November 20, 2019

On 15th of November 2019, the lord mayor, Mr. Gergely Karácsony, handed out prizes on the 146th anniversary of the unification of Budapest.

The 'For Budapest' award was founded in 1992 by the municipality of the capital to honor outstanding work carried out in any field.
Árpád Csurgay has advanced the reputation of the 21st district, Csepel, where he lives. Árpád Csurgay, electric engineer, nanotechnologist, member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and Professor Emeritus of Pázmány Péter Catholic University, was honored by this prestigious award for his fruitful research and teaching activities in the national and international academic world and higher education.
