Private studies and preparations

For students starting in 2016/17

  • The application of permission for private preparations has to be submitted to the DHB according to the Doctoral Regulations of the PPCU (13 §). During authorization the DHB checks if the submitted application meets the minimum requirements of publication and language, and the competence of its specialty. Without these the DHB does not favor the application.
  • The applicant for private preparations has to meet the minimum requirements of publication within the last 5 years from the application.
  • The applicant has to pass the complex examination as a part of admission procedure, instead of it for private preparations otherwise the procedure expires.
  • Regulations on submitting the dissertation can be found in 18 § of the Doctoral Regulations of the PPCU.

For students starting till 2015/16

  • The application of permission for private preparations has to be submitted to the DHB according to the Doctoral Regulations of the PPCU. During authorization the DHB checks if the submitted application meets the minimum requirements of publication and language, and the competence of its specialty. Without these the DHB does not favor the application.
  • The applicant for private preparations has to meet the minimum requirements of publication within the last 5 years from the application.
  • The doctoral examination has to be taken within 2 years from the date of acceptance for private preparations otherwise the procedure expires.
  • Regulations on submitting the dissertation can be found in part 24 of the Doctoral Regulations of the PPCU.
