Dr. Karacs led the course titled “Understanding Machine Learning”, delivered in English for 27 students over 12 hours per week. Hosted by SNU’s Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, the program provided students with a hands-on learning experience in cutting-edge machine learning techniques.
During his visit, Dr. Karacs gained insight into the work of Professor Jongmo Seo’s laboratory, familiarized himself with the projects of PhD students, and actively participated in the lab’s practical activities.
A special highlight of the visit was a guided tour of the Hospital Medical XR Studio at Seoul National University, where Professor Hyoun-Joong Kong and his research team presented their ongoing projects and innovative approaches to extended reality applications in medical research.
This summer program provided an excellent opportunity to explore the latest developments in machine learning and research methodologies, while also fostering international collaboration and exchange of ideas between Pázmány ITK and SNU.
