Three scholarship schemes funded by the Hungarian government are available to international students: 

Selection for these scholarships is done in various steps by different actors: the entity managing the scholarship, the competent authority of the applicants’ sending country and the university. 

The entrance examination is organized by the university, while decision about the scholarships is taken by the competent entity (Tempus Public Foundation / Hungary Helps Agency).
