Through his work in the fields of microelectronics, measurement technology, sensors, and their applications, Professor Kovács has significantly contributed to the development of the scientific community of the Faculty. His innovative research, particularly in the complete passive monitoring of fetal heart sounds, has opened up new possibilities in critical healthcare areas. 

Professor Kovács considers talent development to be of paramount importance. As a successful supervisor and mentor of doctoral students, he has nurtured a new generation of researchers, further strengthening our country's and our institution's position in the international scientific arena. His dedication and innovative approach serve as an excellent example of the impact a committed and innovative scholar can have on the research and teaching community.
