The meeting was attended by Dr. Bence Ákos Tamássy, Head of Foreign Affairs, along with delegation members Judit Zombori, Foreign Affairs Coordinator, and Ágnes Reviczky-Balogh, International Coordinator. Andrea Mihálffy, Head of the International Relations Office, represented ITK at the meeting, which aligned with our institutional and faculty strategy.

Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University and Pázmány Péter Catholic University recently signed a cooperation agreement, following which the two institutions jointly submitted an Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility application aimed at fostering cooperation and knowledge sharing between the universities. One of the key objectives of our institution’s international strategy is strenghten its presence in Central Asia and provide mobility opportunities for our students and faculty members interested in the region.

During the visit, the delegation was welcomed by Rector Alpaslan Ceylan and Co-Rector Almaz Ibraev. Manas University receives significant support from the Turkish state, which allows it to operate one of the most modern and well-equipped campuses in the region.

In addition to observing the remarkable campus, the Pázmány delegation also visited the University’s Department of Communication and Media, where an interview was conducted with Dr. Bence Ákos Tamássy about the relationship between the two universities and its future prospects.
