The international training program consisted of two parts: following the intensive online theoretical foundation held between June 22 and 26, students continued their work in person from June 29 to July 3 in the Faculty’s laboratories. During the project week, participants applied their theoretical knowledge in practice and followed the entire development process of microfluidic chips, from initial brainstorming and computer-aided design to the creation of working prototypes.

In addition, the professional program was complemented by team-building and cultural activities, giving participants the opportunity to discover Budapest and Hungarian culture.
The program was organized by Pázmány ITK, with the professional contribution of Politecnico di Torino (PoliTo) in Italy and Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech) in Estonia. In addition to students from the organizing institutions, the course also welcomed participants from several renowned European universities.

Besides offering insight into cutting-edge technological development, the event also provided an excellent platform for laying the foundations for future international scientific cooperation.
