Blood Donation Event
The Hungarian Red Cross is organizing a blood donation event at our Faculty on October 01, 2025, from 10 am to 3 pm.
To be eligible to donate blood, please ensure you meet the following conditions:
- Take your documents with you: Passport (or ID card or driver's license), Hungarian Social Security Card (TAJ) and Address card
- Be in good health!
- Minimum weight requirement: 50 kg
- Remember to eat and drink beforehand! (As 450 ml of blood will be drawn, it is essential to stay hydrated to avoid any adverse effects.)
- Tattoos and piercings are acceptable if done at least six months prior.
- Most medications will not disqualify you from donating (with the exceptions of antibiotics and steroids); the examining doctor will make the final determination on-site.
