Following the presentations, there were informal professional discussions and a laboratory visit, during which participants reviewed potential areas for collaboration. A key role in organizing and facilitating the event was played by Franciska Erdő, a researcher at our faculty.
During the discussions, several shared areas of interest were identified, including artificial intelligence, microalgae, yeast, microfluidics, metabolomics, and lipidomics. The meeting also provided an opportunity to discuss potential future joint research projects and student mobility programs.
At the end of the event, the guests expressed their openness to hosting Hungarian students at their research center, and our faculty researchers also received an invitation for a reciprocal visit to Madrid. As a result of the meeting, professional connections were strengthened that may, in the long term, contribute to expanding our faculty’s international research network.
