Graduation ceremony of the Image Processing and Computer Vision Master’s programme

2025.09.26.

On 8 September, the graduation ceremony of the Image Processing and Computer Vision (IPCV) Master’s programme took place at our Faculty. The IPCV is a joint degree programme offered by Pázmány Péter Catholic University (PPKE ITK), Université de Bordeaux (France), and Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM, Spain).

We were honoured to welcome representatives from all three partner universities, whose presence highlighted the strong cooperation and shared commitment that underpin the programme. The ceremony was not only a celebration of the graduates’ achievements, but also the official opening event of the new academic year for the incoming first-year students. This September, 21 new students are starting their IPCV journey.

It was a moment of great pride for our Faculty to see this year’s graduates receive their diplomas — among them, five students were awarded their degrees with distinction, a testament to their exceptional dedication and academic excellence.

The IPCV Master’s programme, which has been awarded the prestigious Erasmus Mundus label, continues to attract highly talented students from around the world. Combining advanced theoretical knowledge with practical expertise in image processing and computer vision, it offers an outstanding international learning environment and excellent career prospects.

We are pleased to share photos from this special occasion, celebrating both the remarkable achievements of our graduates and the beginning of a new chapter for the next generation of IPCV students.
