The purpose of the visit was to explore the possibilities of academic and research cooperation between our institutions, with particular attention to initiating the mutual exchange of visiting scholars between China and Hungary.
The delegation was introduced to the Faculty’s research profile, educational mission, and modern laboratory infrastructure. Special focus was given to ongoing projects in biology and bioinformatics, fields in which our Faculty has built strong interdisciplinary competence at the intersection of life sciences and information technology.
In return, our Chinese guests outlined the main directions of their research and innovation strategies, reflecting the scientific priorities of their institutions and regional government. The meeting laid the groundwork for identifying areas of shared interest and complementary expertise.
Notably, the delegation expressed the willingness of the provincial government to provide financial support for joint research initiatives, should specific collaborative topics be identified in the near future.
The Faculty considers this visit a promising step toward long-term collaboration in science and technology, contributing to the development of meaningful academic partnerships and fostering innovation that serves both nations.
