On 19 February 2026, students and lecturers, family and friends gathered for the faculty's graduation ceremony. A large number of students received their diplomas at the event, including both Hungarian and foreign students, which reflects the growing international appeal of Pázmány ITK.

In keeping with tradition, the ceremony began with the Hungarian national anthem and the welcoming words of university and faculty leaders. The first address was delivered by the Rector, Rev. Dr. Géza Kuminetz, followed by Liza Kondrát bidding farewell to the graduates on behalf of the faculty's students. The new graduates also had their turn: Mátyás Andrészek gave his speech thanking the faculty's lecturers and researchers for all the professional support they had given the cohort over the past few years. The graduates have not only gained professional knowledge during their studies, but also a set of values in line with the spirit of Pázmány Péter Catholic University. Finally, Dr. György Cserey, Dean of our Faculty, greeted the students. He emphasized that a diploma is not just a certificate, but it comes with responsibility and a mission, as our graduates have acquired knowledge in the fields of information technology and bionics, which are among the fastest growing and most influential sectors today. In his speech, he also expressed his appreciation to the family members and lecturers who supported the graduates throughout this journey. In his closing words, the Dean encouraged the new graduates to use their knowledge responsibly and courageously, to dare to dream big, while remaining true to the values of the university and continuing to regard the Faculty as their alma mater.

Following the farewell speeches, the graduating students recited the engineers' oath together. Then came the highlight of the ceremony, when the graduates of the bachelor's and master's programs received their diplomas one by one. Several students also received a certificate and a small gift for their outstanding community service.

The event was concluded with the singing of "Szózat", which is traditionally considered as the second national anthem of Hungary, followed by celebration with family, friends and lecturers. For the graduates, this marked the official end of an important phase in their lives and the beginning of the next chapter in their professional careers, either in Hungary or on the international stage.
