The morning featured a series of icebreakers and team-building activities. In one of the challenges, mentors worked together to build a model house from LEGO bricks, putting their communication, cooperation, and problem-solving skills into practice. New members of the Mentor Community also received their mentor T-shirts, officially welcoming them to the team.

In the afternoon, the mentors turned their attention to the upcoming Orientation Week. They reviewed the programme, discussed their roles and responsibilities, and started planning social activities for the fall semester.

Several popular events will return this year, including our now-traditional board game evenings and pre-Christmas gingerbread baking. The team also came up with a number of new ideas to help international students connect, make friends, and feel at home at Pázmány ITK.

Students will already have a chance to meet the mentors and our newly arrived international students this week. Join us for a Hungarian folk dance event on Friday, September 4, from 4:00 p.m.
