Dr György Csaba and Dr István Zoltán Reguly were appointed Full Professors (the highest academic rank in Hungarian higher education) in recognition of their outstanding scientific achievements and dedicated work in higher education. Their appointment took effect on 15 December 2025. This prestigious honour is among the highest professional distinctions in Hungarian higher education and was awarded by the President of the Republic of Hungary, upon the recommendation of the Minister responsible for culture and innovation, with the consent of the university’s governing body.

It is a special honour for our Faculty that two of our lecturers have earned this highly regarded academic and social distinction, further strengthening our institution's scientific excellence. These appointments recognise both scholarly excellence and commitment to teaching, as well as the international representation of the higher education community.
