Pázmány University was present at the conference not only as a participant but also as an active contributor. Attila Csikász-Nagy served as the chair of the bioinformatics section, and the research groups of Zoltán Gáspári and Balázs Ligeti were strongly represented. Among the plenary lectures, the presentations by Anna Sánta, Balázs Ligeti, János Juhász, and Soma Varga stood out, offering fresh perspectives in the fields of molecular biology and genetics.
In the poster section, several young researchers also presented their work, including Fanni Farkas and Eszter Nagy-Kanta, the latter of whom also helped organize the evening quiz. CytoCast, a company connected to ITK, was also represented through university alumni, with presentations by Erzsébet Fichó and András Ecker among others.
The conference not only fostered scientific advancement but also provided an excellent opportunity to deepen domestic and international collaborations, underscoring Pázmány University’s commitment to the development of molecular life sciences.
