At the end of October, the Faculty of Information Technology and Bionics welcomed a distinguished guest: Dr. Borbála (Bori) Hunyadi, an alumna of our MSc programme who graduated in 2009 and has since built a prestigious international academic career in Belgium, the Netherlands, and currently at Maastricht University, where she serves as Associate Professor.

On 22 October 2025, Dr. György Cserey, Dean of Pázmány ITK, gave a lecture in Senec (Slovakia) exploring the relationship between artificial intelligence and humans. The event was organized by the local chapter of Mathias Corvinus Collegium (MCC).

From 13–16 October 2025, our lecturer, Dr Franciska Erdő, participated as an invited guest at the 2025 Frontier Sci-Tech Forum in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China. Hosted in the cutting-edge Shenzhen Centre in Wuhan’s Hubei region, the event was supported by the China Association for International Exchange of Personnel (CAIEP), which promotes international talent exchange.
