We held a solemn graduation ceremony at our Faculty on Thursday, July 16. At the event, nearly seventy students graduated, including those from BSc and MSc programs, as well as participants in postgraduate specialist training programs. 

The collaboration between the Faculty of Information Technology and Bionics of Pázmány Péter Catholic University and its strategic partner, Seoul National University (SNU), has reached another milestone. Over the past few weeks, several members of the Faculty took part in professional programs at South Korea's leading university, a clear sign that the partnership between the two institutions is thriving and continuing to grow across education, research, and international cooperation.

Pázmány ITK has successfully concluded its two-week Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Program (BIP), titled “Lab-on-a-Chip for Biomedical Use,” during which students from across Europe gained in-depth knowledge of the development of microfluidic chips for biomedical applications.

The online phase of the "Lab-on-a-Chip for Biomedical Use" Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Program (BIP) has successfully concluded, and the project week kicked off on June 29th. Participating students are continuing the two-week international program in the laboratories of Pázmány ITK in person.

On June 17, a professional meeting was held at our Faculty, which may open new opportunities for international collaboration for our researchers and students. As part of the program, two renowned Spanish researchers, Prof. Elena Ibánez and Prof. Alejandro Cifuentes (Laboratory of Foodomics, Institute of Food Science Research, CIAL, CSIC), presented their work and research areas.

On June 22nd, 2026, the "Lab-on-a-Chip for Biomedical Use" Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Program (BIP) officially started. The program is organized by our Faculty in cooperation with the Polytechnic University of Turin (PoliTo), Italy, and the Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech), Estonia.
