Our Student Finishes Among the Top Competitors at the New Year’s Eve “Champagne Run”

Our Faculty’s student, Ajtony Szauter, closed the year with an outstanding sporting achievement by competing in the 39th New Year’s Eve Champagne Run and Lake Velence Circuit Race on 31 December 2025 in Gárdony, Hungary. This traditional end-of-the-year running event takes place along the shores of Lake Velence, one of Hungary’s largest and most popular recreational lakes. The race is known for its friendly, festive atmosphere and attracts several hundred participants each year.

In December, Associate Dean and Head of the Molecular Bionics Engineering BSc and Info-Bionics MScProgram, Kristóf Iván, and Andrea Mihálffy, Head of the International Relations Office at PPKE ITK, conducted a partner visit to the Porto campus of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP). The purpose of the visit was to gain first-hand insight into the operations and research infrastructure of Pázmány ITK’s esteemed partner institution, and to explore opportunities for new joint professional collaborations.
