In this course the students will attain a deeper knowledge in the topic of electrophysiology. Detailed information will be provided of the major recording techniques. The attendees will gain knowledge of electrophysiological techniques and devices used in neuroscience research and in research practice.
The topics of the course:
- Detailed characteristics of research and clinical electrodes
- Methods of intra- and extra-cellular electrical recordings and stimulation
- High density electroencephalography
- Advanced methods in event-related potentials
- Generation of brain bioelectric signals
- Enhanced concepts of magnetoencephalography
- High density electromyography and electrocardiography
- Enhanced mathematical methods for analysis of the bioelectric signals
