This advanced course covers the most significant mathematical data analysis methods which are useful for understanding the neurophysiological processes and allows extraction of more information from the measurements. Based on previous studies, we will reach the most advanced contemporary methods, while open questions of the field will be discussed as well. Although, our guiding lines will be the analysis of the electrophysiological signals, the learned techniques will be applicable in principle all branches of science and not only the science, everywhere, where the aim is to reveal the structure and the function of a complex system.
